Next Year’s Enrollment – A letter concerning next year’s enrollment is being mailed home today. Please look it over and contact the office if you have any questions. If you know that you are not returning next year, please notify the office as well. We will begin the 2012-13 re-enrollment process for students currently enrolled and their siblings anytime now through February 6th. Open enrollment begins on February 13th.
Spirit Week is Coming!!!! - The student’s favorite week of school is just around the corner! February 13-16th is Spirit Week. Culminating our week, we have the opportunity to participate in a family night at Fun Spot in Belleville, on Thursday, February 16th from 6-8 p.m. Admission: $1 admission plus skate rental. Watch for more information soon!
First Baptist Academy’s Spring FUNdraiser Friday, April 13, 2012: Wow…what an amazing blessing last year’s FUNdraiser was – all new computers were purchased for the lab and the teachers, science equipment for both schools, an art program and computer classes were added to our students schedule, playground upkeep, and many other needed items for the school – thank you for your wonderful generosity!! As well, the gift of the FUNdraising money helps us keep tuition down and this year has given us the ability not to increase tuition for the 2012-13 school year. This year’s theme is: “Take Me out to the Ball Game!” And our verse for the auction is: “Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31) If you have questions or would like to help, please contact Cathy Donnel, cdonnel1@charter.net. More information will be coming soon.
SCRIP Program: Our next Scrip order is due in the office by noon on January 24th.
Box Tops Contest: Don’t forget our box tops contest!!! The contest will end on February 15th but keep those box tops coming all year round. Schnuck’s contest is going on now through January 24, 2012. We are hoping to add a piece of playground equipment this next year and this money can help toward that addition.
FBA Yearbook - If you have any pictures of your student’s classroom, field trips, chapel, or any special activities that you would like to see considered for the yearbook, email your pictures to Rick Sharpe, rssharpeiii@yahoo.com. You are welcome to send them to the office on a disc and we will send them to Rick. Disc may not be returned unless you request it be returned.
April 26 & 27 – Mark your calendars- Peter Pan is coming! Our students are hard at work and we would love for you to mark your calendars to join us for a special night! More information will be coming your way in the future.
Peter Pan Lunch Special – Thursday, February 16th, the cast and staff of Peter Pan will be selling lunches to help with the cost of the Peter Pan production. Watch for the order form to come home soon!! Cost for lunch will be $4.00 per student.
Reminder: No School on Friday, February 17th (Parent Teacher Conference Week) or Monday, February 20th – President’s Day
