BJUP Bible Curriculum
focuses on familiar children’s stories and heroes of the Bible
in their year long Bible curriculum. BJUP strives to balance
information with age appropriate life application. Curriculum is
developmentally and biblically appropriate in design to provide
challenging opportunities through a variety of activities that
reinforce Bible teaching about God, Jesus, church, family,
nature, self and others.
The curriculum does
not require a specific version of the Bible and children are
taught from a variety of areas including memorization, singing,
praying, and application of truths learned. The curriculum
teaches that the Bible is God’s Word and that the accounts in
the Bible are fact. Lessons taught encourage Christlikeness in
students, and instills a desire in students to know more about
God.
Children are
remarkable in their ability to understand and accept spiritual
truths by faith as well as apply those truths to their everyday
life. BJUP understands this and their curriculum is designed to
facilitate and encourage spiritual growth in a child’s
relationship with Christ that will be reflected in their daily
choices.
