As a child I went to church with my family every Sunday and I attended VBS.  But it wasn't until I was 11 years old that I learned that the only way to go to heaven was to ask Jesus to be the "boss" of my life.  So I prayed and asked Jesus to come into my life.  I continued to attend Sunday School and church and grew in knowledge of the Bible.  God protected me from making some bad choices with my friends and instead led me to choose godly friends at church.   As I entered high school my youth pastor helped me to see that Jesus was not just a "ticket" to heaven; He actually wanted a relationship with me.  So I devoted my life to getting closer to God and growing closer to him.  This past year God has taught me that I can trust him in all areas of my life and that he wants what is best.  How exciting to live the life God has prepared for me.  And it is a much less exhausting way of life!
